With a turbulent 2011 out of the way, here at Too-Chez Robin is ready for a fantastic 2012.
He is involved in a number of new projects about to hit release including an exciting pop rework for new Russian Female Artist Марка (Marka) – the record is already on promo rotation on many Russian Commercial Radio Stations.

Early last year, Robin Axford helped the talented Andrei Ivanov (aka Triplex) create the arrangement and production for “Mobile Blondes” new record “Birthday.”
Robin just saw the video on TV and noticed that most of the work from the original demo mix they created was used in the final release.

Unfortunately, there has been no reference made to either Andrei or Robin’s work in the credits.
However, Robin had a great deal of fun though – cheesing it up with some proper Russian Girly Pop in an SSL studio.

Over the past 2 years, I have had the privilege of working with Chromatone, a new funk outfit with a very exciting progressive edge.
The band is driven by front man Philipp Cerny whose vision has lead the band to develop into a full blown acid jazz line up. Their live shows fuse a 10 piece band with an award winning street dance troop and create quite a unique, dramatic audio visual experience.
With venues such as Jazz Cafe and O2 firmly under their belt, Chromatone are quickly rising through the ranks of the UK live circuit.
Together Too-Chez and Chromatone have created some fantastic recordings which are now ready to launch.

With the cold weather coming in and the feeling of change in the air, Robin has been working away on an exciting new project.
The project goes under the name Doberman or доберман in Russian.
Already a series of pounding club remixes are in place to launch on Russian radio within the coming weeks. Now the development of the first album for the brand is underway and will be completed during the first half of 2012.
The first collaborations of the project include Russian mega band Zveri – Звери.
Doberman has created a furious and eccentric rock infused club mix of Peremen – Звери cover of Kino’s hit.
Following this is a monsterous mix of new female pop singer “Marka” – Day Mne Slovo will be on radio within the coming 8 weeks and the Doberman mixes are sure to cause havoc in the Russian clubs and dance stations.
In addition to this, Robin is busy working with a number of new, emerging bands and acts to develop their sound and give them a sonic edge for this competitive music market.
2012 is looking very exciting!!!
After a beautiful summer, the Too-Chez Studio is working on full force to develop a new series of material from producer and song writer Robin Axford.
