Warp Speed Captain!

It's been a couple of weeks since my last update and it has just flown by!

I am pleased to tell you that Marcus and I have taken our new AXFORD track Solar to an incredible level of production and with just one or two tweaking sessions it will be ready to push out of the studio.

During almost every day of the last 2 weeks A+B have been prolific and now have a collection of 9 tracks to put forwards to secure a major recording contract. Andrew is helping us create a simple but highly creative logo and we have a photo shoot next Thursday...very exciting. Our myspace is underway and shortly to follow will be a Facebook, Bebo etc etc... I shall post links to all over the coming week.

As you can imagine there's loads of pressure but were all coping well down in the studio and all is positive. I look forward to launching the project very soon.

Komla had his first live gig with his band and surprise, surprise his performance was outstanding! check out www.komlamusic.com in a couple of months he will be snapped up and all our hard work will have paid off. Nice one Captain K!

Studio Madness

Hi everyone,

This week has been a monster with three different projects being developed at the same in the Too-Chez Studio!

First up A+B have written and created a new masterpiece called 'Start Again' which has a fast drum break verse dropping into a spacious Pink Floyd -esq chorus. It's absolutely sublime and helps to considerably strengthen the album package. Nice one George!

Marcus "Waggy" Lau and I have been working on a new House anthem for AXFORD under code name 'solar.' It's sounding absolutely heavyweight but still has a way to go. A very exciting flavour is being developed so please be patient... it will be well worth the wait!!!!

George, Tom Hickox and I have been busy writing top-line vocal and melody parts for an exciting music project being created in conjunction with Nottinghill Music. We have delivered two tracks and now await responses next week. Could be an exciting opportunity.....we'll see.

After that mammoth of a week, I'm enjoying a nice relaxed weekend. Hope you are too!

A+B - Rollin'....just like an express train

Today I've been hard at work developing the music for a new A+B track.

The backing is sounding nice and dynamic and ready for George to layer a killer vox on tomorrow.

This will be the 6th track in as many sessions and by mid September we should be close to launch our assault on our label contacts, managers and publishers.

First Piece of News: 4.8.08

I am also pleased to state that I have just been credited for engineer work on the Streets forthcoming album. The drums, percussion and additional sketches were recorded some months ago in my studio. Thanks to all involved and a special thanks to Mike and Leo and  the best of luck with the release.

The new pop duo A+B I am developing with friend and colleague George Bird is full steam ahead and we are on track 6 of the album....check the media player for a couple of gems by us.

Marcus 'Waggy' Lau (my brother from another mother) and I are hard at work writing the next AXFORD anthem.....gonna be a rocker for sure so please be patient the end of this month is going to be exciting!
